1924 Pierce Arrow 5 Ton Truck

The engine is a four cylinder "T" head with four valves per cylinder. This engine is also equiped with roller lifters. Each cylinder has two spark plugs for dual ignition.

This engine is also equiped with a piston air pump to pump air into the gas tank to pressurize it. Before starting it is necessary to use the pump shown in the right picture to produce pressure in the gas tank.
